"Reading was a passion of mine, ever since I was a child. However, as the years went by and I got busy juggling motherhood and my career, reading sort of took a backseat. Starting Sonali's Book Club was a means for me to interact with book-lovers from across the globe and was a sure shot way of ensuring that I got back in touch with reading, as I would then compulsorily have to read at least one book every month. Hosting it on Facebook as a group would give me the added advantage of connecting with fellow booklovers from across the world and hearing different views and perspectives on the books that we read. We're still growing and coming up with new ways to make this book club bigger and better. Hope you enjoy being a part of the book club!"
Book
Discussion
Every month we pick a book for the members of the book club to read and set a date where we discuss any thoughts and questions that we have on the book. The discussion happens in multiple ways – via Facebook Live or a textual discussion online on the Sonali’s Book Club Facebook group.
SBC
Discoverables
Discovering a new author is like discovering a hidden gem. We aim to put the spotlight on new and upcoming authors and give them a platform to talk about their book and reach a wider audience. We also aim to delve into the wonders/treasure trove of regional literature and bring them to the forefront.

Reading is a critical aspect of a child’s development. As a mother and author of a parenting book, I feel passionately about encouraging children to read. Given that I have a teenage son who is growing up in a very audio-visual time, I understand the struggles that parents face in getting children to pick up a book. The idea of this section is to help parents out and find children’s books that are age-appropriate and content-worthy.
